This massive fjord on Greenland's eastern coast deserves several days of exploration, especially while navigating among castle-sized icebergs drifting under the Arctic waters' persuasion. Remote bays and smaller fjords offer sites of old Inuit settlements, slowly intertwined with Arctic willow and dwarf birch. These areas support muskox, Arctic fox, lemmings, Ptarmigan, Barnacle Geese, and Snowy Owls. Tundra walks provide impressive views of landscapes and flora and fauna.
